We are thrilled to announce that it’s finally happening.  The creation/formation of our school – Asteria School of Whole-istic Healing.  This has been a dream of ours for years……offering educational programs that bring healing to the mind, body & spirit.

The first question you may have is “What’s Asteria Mean?”  Well, Asteria is the Titan Goddess of Dreams.  We thought she aptly represented our goals…..to achieve your dreams of personal health and help others achieve theirs. 

We will be updating this information as often as possible so that you can be a part of this ever-changing, growing, expansive and life-changing school.  We are committed to being the change—by being an enlightened school that spreads wisdom, transformation and caring as a pathway to healing and personal transformation. 

Background

The school is a part of Works of Heart, Inc. a corporation established in Colorado., founded by Mary and Rob Grady.

 Founders

As founders, Mary and Rob Grady hope to share their skills, background and passions.  For over 20 years, Mary and Rob worked in Corporate America, Rob in Financial Services & Sales, Mary in Human Resources.  One day while talking about their dreams, they decided to quit their Corporate jobs and go back to school—Rob pursued Massage Therapy, Mary entered a Masters Program in Oriental Medicine (and is presently completing her PhD in Holistic Health).  They’ve never looked back!  After receiving comprehensive training in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and a form of therapeutic-based coaching, they decided that they could combine their knowledge of the mind with their expansive background in the body and spirit and share it with others to change their world!

Asteria is a culmination of ideas, principles and most of all, life-changing techniques to guide people in their personal healing and well-being.  We understand the past, nurture the present and guide to the future.  We know that each person is already whole—we also know that each person can flourish if they receive the tools they need & desire.

 Objectives

• The program will provide comprehensive, integrated knowledge that will allow each participant to fully understand techniques, skills, theory, and process surrounding the mind, body and spirit.
• We will provide a safe and professional environment that will allow participants to learn in the easiest way possible.
• We will offer diverse learning vehicles to allow participants to understand content on a deep level.
• We will provide a stimulating learning environment responsive to adult learners, in a non-competitive environment.
• We promise to recognize the mind, body, and spirit of each individual and provide opportunities for all participants to experience epiphany, transformation and integration.
• We offer cutting edge, caring, ethical and expansive learning opportunities for all participants via extremely well trained teaching staff.

We are in the process of obtaining certification through the State of Colorado so that those interested can achieve the following Certifications:

Master of Neurolinguistic Programming

Certified Meditation Instructor

Certified Whole-istic Energy Healer

In addition to our Certification Programs, we will also be offering daily offerings in Yoga, Meditation, and Community Acupuncture, Energy Work and more.  Weekend Workshops will also be available at our new school site – keep your eyes open for more info.
